My name is Samantha Vaseekaran, and I’m the founder and owner of Sequoia Craftworks.
Sequoia is an individual-run small business providing you with handcrafted jewelry, made of polymer clay. All my pieces are carefully designed and skillfully created to be works of art. I hope you get as much joy out of wearing them as I do in making them! Polymer clay jewelry is loved for being lightweight and durable, making it possible to wear larger and more intricate styles without being weighed down by heavy materials.
I believe in community over competition; the vast majority of my materials are sourced from other small businesses. This helps me ensure not only the quality of my pieces, but also adds far more meaning to them!
Clay Care
Polymer clay is durable and slightly flexible, but should still be handled with much care! It can indeed break if it is bent, dropped, or pulled apart. We recommend the following steps to care well for your pieces and ensure their longevity:
- Handle each piece with care!
- Remove earrings before swimming, showering, exercise and sleeping.
- Store away from direct sunlight.
- Keep away from other jewelry and sharp objects, to avoid surface scratches.
- To clean, wipe with a soft, damp cloth.

Once we’ve decided on a design and the order is placed, I will begin work handcrafting your bespoke piece. Photos will be shared once the order is complete, and with your approval, the item will be shipped out.
